WWE announce New Championship, Winner to be revealed in Night of Champions

In WWE Night of Champions, the crown of the World Heavyweight Championship can adorn the head of this Superstar, will the former champion's drought end?

Triple H: After a long time in WWE, it was finally announced to bring a new world championship. Fans were shocked after the announcement of Chief Content Officer Triple H. On a recent episode of Raw, The Game presented the new World Heavyweight Championship to the WWE Universe.

WWE will host the Night of Champions premium live event on May 27 in Saudi Arabia. The new World Heavyweight Champion will be crowned at the show. It is possible that the company will organize a tournament for the new world title or the company can make the winner of the King of the Ring tournament the new world champion.

According to Dave Meltzer of the Wrestling Observer Newsletter, a new World Championship belt had been in talks for a long time. The names of some stars were also discussed as new champions in WWE. Meltzer further revealed that Cody Rhodes, Drew McIntyre, and Seth Rollins were top contenders for the new World Championship. Drew McIntyre is yet to sign a contract with the company, so Seth's side has a better chance of becoming the champion. Seth Rollins can be crowned the World Heavyweight Championship. Also, Seth's drought of not winning the top title from the last few years will end. They told,

"When there was a talk about a new world championship,Cody Rhodes, Seth Rollins and Drew McIntyre were the top contendors to win. There was a talk about these three guys. Drew McIntyre is probably looking out of the running because he hasn't signed a new contract. I doubt he'll be made champion. It's a different matter that he'll be with the company until the end of the year. If you look at the TV programming, you'll see that Seth Rollins is the new champion. Can be world champion."

Multiple WWE superstars show interest in new World Heavyweight Championship

The new World Championship was unveiled on the recent episode of Raw, after which many superstars such as Cody Rhodes, Finn Balor, Seth Rollins and current US Champion Austin Theory looked at the championship and made it clear that he was not going to become the new World Champion. Very interested.
